LEARNING
Digital devices are changing the way we search for, gather, and understand information. As a learning designer, I know how to engage today's learners both in person and on digital platforms. I use various tools, techniques, and learning theories to increase visual interest, motivation, and content understanding.
ANALYZE & PLAN
Successful learning design starts with a comprehensive look at the issues you are seeking to address - I can help with that. What are your goals? Who are you training? How can we activate participant motivation and previous knowledge to increase successful outcomes? Needs assessment is essential for understanding the type of content needed to achieve results. I can help identify your goals, understand your audience, and create content in line with expected outcomes.
DESIGN
Every learning environment has its own unique challenges that require astute expertise to ensures participants' understanding of the content. This incorporates all levels of conceptualization including remembering, understanding, applying, evaluating, and initiating information. I have an extensive background designing and instructing many ages and experience levels. I will help you identify the specific objectives related to your goals then present and assess them in measurable ways - I design content with a purpose.
DEVELOP
Learning design can look very different depending on your needs and those of your learners. Instructor led - I can do that. Digital based - I can do that too. I can create a storyboard or user manual with ease and I am adept at scripted video and motion graphics. I have experience with many e-learning and design tools and deep expertise with live instruction. I can lead a room full of learners through a variety of goal-oriented interactions, produce welcoming and informative digital experiences and intuitive asynchronous content. I use meaningful strategies, and motivational techniques to encourage purposeful learning and knowledge transfer.
EVALUATION
Effective training solutions can save you money in the long run. I can help you evaluate the entire learning process to ensure goals are accomplished and safeguard your return on investment. A program's efficiency and effectiveness are gathered through assessment, observation, participant feedback, post-learning evaluation, and on-the-job monitoring. I will help you every every step of the way.
